The Bishop in your bedroom
They're at it again.
In Baltimore, a group of men with, presumably, little or no sexual experience is advising some people how they should experience sex. In a word, they shouldn't. Experience it, I mean.
A conference of US Catholic bishops has decided that they're kind of OK with homosexuality as long as you don't act on it.They won't make you try and change, but they won't let you express the love you have for your partner either. Apparently, such a choice would not be "consistent with the Gospel of Jesus as handed down through the church." I'm no expert, but I can't remember just where Christ had anything to say about it. Birth control is also frowned upon; we should "embrace human life and sacrifice yourself for the sake of something greater." With more than 6 billion people on earth, it's going to be hard to embrace very many more.
So there. Just do it because we said so. Or because someone somewhere said something (we think) like that. But mostly because we said so.
And if you have any time left, love your neighbor.
